Priddis, Alberta - A beautiful 2250 square foot cedar log home, built just southwest of Calgary. This home features hand-peeled log railings and stairs, a 400 square foot master bedroom in an open loft.
Garner Lake, Alberta - This 1800 square foot home really shows off the rich colour of western red cedar. The blend of wood, stonework and a striking red metal roof shows how a log home can have plenty of curb appeal even with a simple plan.
Canmore, Alberta - This Mt. Resthaven model is a former Canadian Cedar Log showhome built in Canmore, approximately 30 km east of Banff, Alberta. The 1680 square foot floor plan features a large loft and plenty of glass in the prow in front.

Slave Lake, Alberta - An architect was brought in specifically to design the complex rooflines on this unique and striking log home built 300 km north of Edmonton. Features on this house include all log interior walls, etched glass railings, inlaid carvings in some of the post and beam, and curved log staircases. One of the most beautiful log homes ever built - you must see these pictures!
