Package Specs and Options

Your Canadian Cedar Log representative will explain our specifications and options to help you assemble the best package for your dream home. The following is a rough outline of the materials that can be included in your package:

• Log Walls - the system of your choice
• Exterior Framing - studs or structural insulated panels (SIPs) if required
• Interior Framing - as required
• Floor Systems - I-joists with 3/4" OSB subfloor
• Exterior Deck - cedar or treated pine with support posts
• Exterior and Interior Railings - western red cedar
• Roof Systems - scissor or flat-bottom trusses, vented I-joist, or SIPs
• Windows - Low-E, wood or metal-clad, comes with cedar casings
• Doors - Cedar or insulated metal, comes with cedar casings
• Roofing Materials - asphalt shingles, metal roof, or cedar shingles
• Fascia - western red cedar
• Soffit and Ceilings - 1x6 tongue-and-groove pine
• Post and Beam - as required
